Bodyscissors FAQ

What is a bodyscissors?

A bodyscissors is a wrestling hold where one person wraps their legs around the opponent's midsection and squeezes, restricting breathing and pinning them. It is usually applied from behind or from the guard.

What is the difference between a bodyscissors and a headscissors?

A bodyscissors squeezes the body (waist, ribs or chest); a headscissors squeezes the head or neck. Both are leg holds and both appear in mixed wrestling.

Can a bodyscissors make someone tap?

Yes. A strong bodyscissors makes breathing hard and can force a submission, especially combined with a choke.

Where are more femdom bodyscissors?

Here and in Femdom Wrestling, where bodyscissors are combined with headscissors and facesitting.
